Synta Solutions LLC dba Repairman
COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Effective Date: May 1, 2017
We want Repairman to be enjoyable and safe for everyone. These ground rules are designed to ensure that customers and service providers have a five star home service or repair when using Repairman. Please take a moment to read them. Because whether you’re a customer seeking home service or repair — or a partner wanting to earn money by providing home service or repair — your behavior matters.
Respect each other
Treat your customers and service providers as you would like to be treated yourself – with respect. It’s common courtesy to be punctual, friendly and honest. And by tidying up after yourself after a job you’ll keep the good rating and feedback from your customers. Most important of all, remember that when you use Repairman you will meet people who may look different or think differently from you. Please respect those differences. We want everyone to feel welcome when they use Repairman.
Give consumers and service providers some personal space
We all value our personal space and privacy. It’s OK to chat with consumers while on the job. But please don’t comment on someone’s appearance or ask whether they are single. No touching or flirting between customers or service providers. As a reminder, Repairman has a no sex rule. That’s no sexual conduct between service providers and customers, no matter what.
Safety first
Everyone wants to get a safe service. So please ensure that you follow the local law. Of course, service providers have a particular responsibility when it comes to safety at Repairman. That means keeping attention on the task; not getting distracted; always wearing safety gear (goggles, gloves, knee pads and back support) while on the job; and never providing service under the influence of alcohol or drugs. And if you’re servicing a customer and feel tired, take a break.
Adults only
Only adults can have a Repairman consumer account.
Feedback makes us all better
Whether you are a customer or service provider, please rate your service upon job completion. Honest feedback helps ensure that everyone is accountable for their behavior. This accountability creates a respectful, safe environment for both customers and service providers. And if something happens during a service call — whether it’s an accident or an argument — make sure to report it by tapping “Help” in the app so that our customer support team can follow up.
The guidelines below help explain some of the specific kinds of behavior that may cause you to lose access to Repairman.
