There is nothing like a shower or sink drain that can’t keep up with you! If you notice a drain that is moving slower than usual, don’t hesitate to take action on your own before calling a licensed plumber. You can even make a simple non-toxic and eco-friendly version on your own with just baking soda and vinegar. To try this method, follow the steps listed below.

1. Be certain that the tub or sink bowl is almost empty of water
2. Pour ½ to ¾ cup of baking soda down the drain
3. Follow up with equal amounts of vinegar – watch the reaction take place!
4. When bubbling stops, rinse with hot water
